Îshê-fësî Ratê (/ˈɪʃɘ/ /ˈfësɪ/ [fine (okay)] [professor]) is a temperate Large City located in the Nêndënkîte Zone of the Engineer's Guild.

The name Îshê-fësî Ratê is derived from the Sylvin language, as Îshê-fësî Ratê was founded by Snotsuihz, who was culturaly Iron Elf.

Climate

Îshê-fësî Ratê has a yearly average temperature of 23°C (73°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 30°C (86°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cool 17°C (62°F). Îshê-fësî Ratê receives an average of 255 cm/y (100 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the spring. Îshê-fësî Ratê covers an area of nearly 141 km2 (56 mi2), and an average elevation of 0 m (0 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Îshê-fësî Ratê was founded durring the early 14th century in summer of the year 1330, by Snotsuihz. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Îshê-fësî Ratê was built using the conventions of Iron Elf durring the early 14th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Îshê-fësî Ratê is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Îshê-fësî Ratê is buildings are arranged arround a single broad flagstone mainstreet with many smaller streets branching off of it which gives the city a over all rectangular shape, albit one warped and twisted by the nature of the curves of the main road. The city is in posession of a finaly crafted dwarvern style fortified fighting wall, completer with lower, middle, and upper battlments for use in sloped-fire defence stratagies, murder holes, and statues which may or may not be constructs, and, of course, MERTICULATIONSshortsizename is one of the wealthiest and politicaly connected settlments in the world.. Îshê-fësî Ratê's Ragnarock-era relics has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.

Îshê-fësî Ratê has a very calm atmosphere. People can be seen relaxing, scocilizing, and going about all manner of business other than the daily grind. Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Îshê-fësî Ratê’s streets. The city is very clearly a joyfull place as well as relaxing. Music can be heard often, as well as laughter. The smell of food and drink permiates the air. You can’t help but smile.

They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Îshê-fësî Ratê's natural decorations nor waterways.

Cultural Notes

Îshê-fësî Ratê's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. It was best known for its rough, unfinished surfaces, unusual shapes, heavy-looking materials, straight lines, and small windows. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.
